Andrea Gonzales, the Vice President of Global Companion Animal Therapeutics at Zoetis, expresses her passion for uncovering new scientific insights that lead to innovative solutions for pets and their owners. She takes pride in her involvement with the dermatology teams that developed Apoquel® and Cytopoint®, therapies that effectively address allergic skin disease in dogs. Andrea's personal experience with her dogs suffering from skin allergies motivated her to find a solution to improve pets’ quality of life. For the future, she looks forward to continuing research to understand allergic skin disease in other species.
